I meant to put these pictures earlier, but my dear Miss Dyan Lestari took quite a fair bit of time in allowing me to display these gorgeous faces in the recent Garcia De Fernandez Wedding Showcase, held at Fort Canning. It was an interesting event and one where you constantly have to say “Hi!” for like almost 10 minutes at every interval.

Yesterday, the day started out to be simple. I had 2 meetings and met Hossan for lunch before he headed off to another show in Fullerton Hotel. Great guy, humble and unpretentious. He has shared so many experiences with me about showbiz and the entertainment industry and it looks as though that I felt I have known him for such a long time. Well let’s recap what he did for my last event.
Notice the eyebrow on his right. Poor him. Slight injury whilst walking and banged onto a waiter with huge tray. Still professional!
And in all, 3 outfit change for Mr Hossan Leong! Even Vivien didn’t have the time. She told me tht.
Stage managing with Vivien. Nothing beats endless fun, laughing, giggling..and bit**ing! Ooops! Now I need to find time to pass her all her pictures, which has caused my server in the office to lag!

And after which, the highlight of the evening. Cassina’s new furniture launch at SPACE showroom. Thank you Bogi for inviting me once again to this launch and met Nur, straight after I bid goodbye to Hossan.
I have emphasised that branding is sooo important in our daily lives. Even as much as in our name cards. Be bold, be different and that landed me up with….
one of the lucky TEN guests to walk away with a Cassina coffee table book worth $300 dollars! Pheeeeeeeeweeet!

My proud possesion for the night. I have seen some of these lying around the showroom waiting for potential owners to grab, and walk away. Stupid them, when a coffee table book is $300 worth and u lie it around like your underwear? Not for me! UH UH…
I guard it with my life. Pfft.

And who can forget Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2007 with her unforgetable butt fall of her lifetime in Mexico..
Oh well, she has a junior to follow up to this tradition..
Same fall, same recovery and maybe a different angle shot and a different gown! And USA has a lot to give back to its history! Uh uh!
With that, minus the underdogs girls and the falls, and the aunties going to the market, we sure do have a fair bit left for Miss Universe, don’t you think so? I think Donald got to send a runway trainer cum expert from Singapore to teach the girls a thing or two. *winks* Else, blame on bad ratings, bad designers, bad gowns, bad candidates but never on one self.
In that case – I shall wear the crown lah!
